Medway youngsters should go along to Silver Blades in Gillingham Business Park for open auditions.

Youngsters are urged to go along to Silver Blades tomorrow (Saturday) to see if they could be the next Torvill and Dean.

The ice rink is hosting open auditions and is looking for children aged five to 15 to become a skating star.

The Olympic gold medallists have been on the television recently with their new show, Ice Rink on the Estate.

Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean.

The pair get their skates back on as they try to turn teenagers from their home city of Nottingham into professional ice skaters and Silver Blades wants to do the same for the youngsters in Medway.

Finalists of the competition will take part in a unique ice skating show starring alongside leading skaters in front of thousands of fans.

The winner will also go on to represent Silver Blades and Kent at a national level.
