A sports centre in Medway was cordoned off by police today.

Officers could be seen at Strood Sports Centre in Watling Street, at about 11am this morning.

They taped off a road which leads to the front entrance of the building.

It is understood they left the scene at about 2.30pm this afternoon.

Police have been contacted for more information.
