Six American Bulldog puppies stolen in King Street, Rochester, found

Six puppies stolen from their home in Rochester have been found safe and well.

The American Bulldogs had been taken during a robbery at a property in King Street last Friday in which two people were assaulted.

They had been snatched from their mother aged only three weeks old.

But following an appeal by police, the puppies have been returned to their owner.

Det Sgt Sam Stuart said: "The puppies all appear to be in good health and will be going to the vets to be checked over.

"Nobody has been arrested at this stage and we will be speaking to the owner to establish how they came to be returned."
