Parts of Strood town centre were left without electricity following a power cut this morning.

Businesses and homes lost power just after 10.50am, but UK Power Networks engineers have now restored supplies to all customers.

The company says 189 customers initially lost power, but engineers were able to restore supplies to most before noon and the remaining customers by 12.20pm
