A suspected serial flasher is set to appear in court this morning charged with seven sex offences.

Ionel Arsenii, 25, is accused of assaulting women and exposing himself in Rainham and Gillingham.

He was arrested on Tuesday evening and was charged yesterday and remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning.

Offences have been reported around Rainham Railway Station

Arsenii, of Wakeley Road in Rainham, is accused of:

Arsenii's arrest is linked to that investigation, however the most recent three charges relate to incidents after police launched their appeal.

Kent Police has been asked how many offences are now being investigated.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nicola Lincoln previously said: "There are recurring themes across these reports and we believe they are linked to this one offender.

"We have already carried out numerous enquiries, including analysing CCTV and taking forensic samples, and are now in a position to issue a computer-generated image that has been created with the assistance of a victim.

"I would encourage anyone who recognises the man to contact us on 01634 792209 quoting 46/79817/19.

"Alternatively contact Crimestoppers in Kent, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
