A teenage girl was airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a car in Beechings Way, Twydall

A teenage girl had to be airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a car.

Police were called to reports of a crash in Beechings Way, Twydall, at 3.13pm on Friday.

It was reported that a teenage girl and a car had collided and officers at the scene were joined by crews from Secamb and the air ambulance.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance

The girl was airlifted to a London Hospital and her injuries are not to be life threatening.

The road was completely closed from the Beechings Roundabout to Beechings Way between 3.44pm and 4.50pm to allow to allow the air ambulance to land and treat the casualty.
