Police appeal for information after teen is attacked and repeatedly punched in City Way, Rochester

A teenager was repeatedly punched in the head and face in an unprovoked attack as he made his way home.

The man, who is 19, was walking along City Way, Rochester, near its junction with Onslow Road, when he was attacked from behind.

Officers investigating the crime are appealing for witnesses after the victim was punched to the back of his head at around 5.50pm on, Friday, June 22.

The teenager was attacked as he walked along City Way

He was then punched around five times more to his face and head before his attacker ran away.

The teenager made his way home before going to hospital to be treated for minor injuries to his face.

The suspect is black, slim with a braided hair style and wearing a light grey tracksuit.

Police are appealing for information
