Teenager spotted in Chatham found to be 'holding 60 wraps of heroin'

A teenager spotted loitering outside a house previously used for drug dealing was alleged to have bee found with 60 wraps of heroin on him.

The suspected supplier was seen outside the building on Maidstone Road in Chatham at around 5.40pm on Wednesday, October 12.

The 17-year-old boy from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire reportedly tried to run upon seeing police but was later detained and taken to Medway Police Station.

He was then searched by officers who are said to have found 60 wraps of heroin, two mobile phones and cash on his person.

The teenager has since been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
