Suspected class A drugs were seized from a property in Gillingham.

A 19-year-old from London was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply after officers searched the home.

The Medway Community Policing Team searched the property in Canterbury Street at around 8.30pm yesterday.

They recovered the drugs along with a number of plastic bags, weighing scales and cash.

The 19-year-old remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
