A teenager has been found dead after emergency services were called to her home on St Mary’s Island, Chatham Maritime.

The girl, who has not been named but is thought to be 18, died on Saturday afternoon.

A police spokesman said they were called out just after 2pm along with ambulance crews.

“The spokesman added: "A female in her late teens was pronounced dead shortly after. The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
