Years after their skirt-ripping dance routine set Europe alight, some of the original members of Bucks Fizz are back with a new single.

Their line-up includes original member Cheryl Baker, who is a patron of Medway-based Abigail's Footsteps.

Cheryl, who lives in Tunbridge Wells, is joined by Jay Aston and Mike Nolan in the most recent incarnation of the band, now known as The Fizz.

Jay Aston takes the lead vocal on the track called From Here to Eternity.

She recorded the song just hours after receiving a diagnosis of mouth cancer in 2018.

While Jay considered the possibility of saying a final goodbye to her teenage daughter, the song is described as "emotional ballad of strength and determination."

The single comes from their new album Smoke & Mirrors which was released last month.
