What’s your view on a third academy for Medway?

Medway Council is running a consultation period from Monday, February 23, until Friday, April 3, giving you the chance to air your views on its proposal to turn New Brompton College in Gillingham into an academy.

The proposed Academy would open in September 2010 for its first intake of Year 7 students with existing students transferring from the existing school and be on the site of New Brompton College, using existing buildings, followed by a move later into new, purpose-designed buildings.

Public meetings will be held at the college on Tuesday, 10 March from 7 to 8.30pm and Monday, 30 March from 7 to 8.30pm.

Anyone unable to make the meetings can also contribute to the consultation by writing a letter sending a letter to Medway Council.
