A tip will remain closed today after it was shut for an electrical fault.

Cuxton Waste and Recycling Centre, Sundridge Hill, Cuxton, has been out of action since Sunday morning.

Engineers are at the site to repair the fault as quickly as possible.

Medway Recyling posted on Twitter: "Cuxton household waste recycling centre still has an electrical fault, therefore the site is closed.

"Team are on site to repair as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience."

The Hoath Way and Capstone tips are open as normal.
