A two-car crash near the Medway tunnel caused long delays for motorists.

Police confirmed it happened at Vanguard Way at around 5.08pm.

No one was injured, but one of the vehicles, a black BMW, took some time to be recovered.

Motorists said it took up to 15 minutes to get through to the Strood side of the tunnel and traffic is backed up all the way to Chatham.
