Motorists were faced with delays after a road crash involving three vehicles in Mierscourt Road, Rainham, at around 4.10pm yesterday (Monday).

Police and ambulance crews were in attendance.

Traffic was diverted along Ploughman's Way.

A 20-year-old man from Gillingham was driving a white van involved in the smash.

He was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
