Southeastern train delays after trespasser removed from track at Rochester

There are delays to train services running through Rochester following a trespasser on the tracks.

Operator Southeastern reported trains were being held and could not run between Chatham and Rochester just after 6.40pm.

They later stated the trespasser had been removed from the railway at Rochester but that services could be delayed or cancelled.

All lines were reported to be back open at around 7.20pm.

Delays remain on the line and passengers are advised to check their travel options.
