Trains delayed at Gillingham Station after woman spotted near tracks

Train users faced delays after emergency services were called to the tracks.

British Transport Police were sent to Gillingham just before 2pm after a woman was spotted near the railway.

Paramedics attended and she was taken to safety.

This meant earlier trains were cancelled as the power had to be switched off.

The services through Gillingham are now running but commuters had faced delays.
