Two arrests after motorcyclist dies in crash in Princes Avenue, Chatham

Two men have been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash.

The 19-year-old from Chatham died at the scene in Princes Avenue yesterday evening.

Tragedy struck when a black Ford Focus travelling from the Walderslade direction collided with the motorcyclist at the junction with Heron Way just after 5pm.

A 22-year-old man from Chatham and a 30-year-old man from Rochester have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
