Two people were taken to hospital after a motorbike crashed into a road barrier on Blue Bell Hill last night.

Police were called to the Chatham-bound carriageway of the A229 just before 10pm.

Officers and paramedics were at the scene and the driver and passenger were taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The carriageway was closed until 11pm.
