Brompton Academy pupils 'flashed' in Windmill Road area of Gillingham

A flasher indecently exposed himself in front of two girls as they walked home from school yesterday afternoon.

The youngster's gran posted a warning on social media after the incident near the Brompton Academy and Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham.

She wrote: "Warning! My granddaughter has come in from school in tears and very distressed today.

"She has said her friend and her were approached by a man who was flashing his privates at them and who wouldn’t go away.

"This incident took place on the path behind Medway hospital that leads from Brompton Academy.

"The school has been made aware of this happening. Please warn your children."

Police spokesman Vicki Foster said: "We are investigating a report that a man indecently exposed himself in the Windmill Road area of Gillingham at around 3.15pm.

"Inquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing and anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time is asked to call police on 01634 792209 quoting 06-0963."
