Weather experts have warned Kent could be hit with more thunder and lightning today.

It's time to get your washing in if you live in Medway, which is set to experience lots of heavy rainfall throughout the day.

Met Office spokesman Richard Mills said: "You'll experience really heavy pulses of rain which means quick, high intensity rainfall in tiny areas.

"It's due to rain again at about 2pm and then there is forecast to be heavy rain in the evening.

"People should watch out for thunder and lightning too."
