What do young people think of libraries?

This autumn, Medway libraries will be asking children and young people what they think of the service provided to children and young people.

The opinion poll is part of a National Children's Survey. It is hoped the library service will find out how children currently use libraries, their satisfaction with core services and with the library overall.

If children are unable to complete a questionnaire themselves, their parents, carers or library staff can help them.

The questionnaires will be available in all Medway libraries from Monday, October 1 to Saturday October 6.

The service hopes to find out what is attractive about libraries and what can be done to encourage more use.

The survey is being conducted in libraries throughout England between September and October 2007.

For further details contact the Library Development Team on 01634 338732.
