Local heroes will have their moment in the spotlight tomorrow at the Pride in Medway gala night.

Almost 80 people have been put forward for this year’s awards and all were honoured at a certificate presentation in January.

They have been invited to a dinner and presentation at the Universities at Medway’s Pilkington building, Chatham Maritime.

Former Gills’ player and manager Andy Hessenthaler will present prizes and Meridian presenter Sangeeta Bhabra will introduce the finalists.
