A woman driver has been arrested after a car hit a cyclist.

The crash happened between a Toyota Yaris and a woman on a pushbike just before 9pm yesterday in Chatham Hill.

Police and ambulance crews attended and the cyclist was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with a head injury.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on police bail until Friday, August 19.
