A woman was taken to hospital after a five vehicle crash on a motorway.

Police and ambulance attended the M2 Londonbound near Junction 2 for Strood at 4.45pm yesterday afternoon.

One lane was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

They were on the scene until around 7pm.

One woman was treated by paramedics for chest pains and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
