A woman was taken to hospital after a three vehicle smash in Chatham yesterday afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews were called out to The Brook shortly after 5pm after the collision.

The woman was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, but is not thought to have suffered serious injury.

A spokesman for police said: “Kent Police was called to a three vehicle collision in The Brook, Chatham, at 5.03pm on Tuesday 11 April 2017.

"The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and took one woman to a local hospital as a precaution.

“No serious injuries were reported.”
