Police seeking witnesses after two women allegedly assaulted with a metal bar, in Strood

Two women were allegedly punched, kicked and struck with items including a metal bar in an alleyway.

The attack happened near Tamar Drive, Strood, just after 4pm on Saturday, November 12.

The disturbance involved four women, and the two victims suffered injuries and ended up needing hospital treatment.

Police were called and two women, aged 21 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

They are both currently bailed, pending further inquiries until February 9.
