Young soldier dies after car overturns

A ROYAL Engineer died today after an horrific crash on one of Kent's busiest roads.

Martin James Bell suffered serious injuries when his white Toyota Corolla overturned on the A289 at Wainscott, near Rochester, and he died later in hospital.

Mr Bell, a 25-year-old single man, from Falkirk, Scotland, was a serving soldier with the 39 Royal Engineers Regiment. The accident happened at about 6.30am.
