Gillingham defender Deji Oshilaja is back in full training.

The centre-back limped off at Bradford but injury fears were unfounded as it turned out he had cramp.

Oshilaja, 23, missed the final 20 minutes of the game, which the Gills drew 2-2.

“Deji is fine,” said Gills head coach Ady Pennock.

“I thought it was an ankle injury but it was cramp. He will be fine.”

Pennock was relieved that there was no serious injury but is keen to see the back of his players going down with cramp.

He said: “Like I have said before, we shouldn’t be getting cramp, they should be fit as a fiddle. It was a heavy pitch, but heavy pitch or not, you shouldn’t be getting cramp.

“It was tough for Deji, getting up and down the park, especially second half. But for me they shouldn’t be getting cramp. I gave him a bit of grief about it afterwards.”
