Kevin Parrish has taken his side top of the table

Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has called on his players to maintain their position at the top of ENIHL South 1.

Dynamos hit top spot for the first time this season after winning their games against Cardiff Dragons and Haringey Greyhounds last weekend.

They are now preparing to face Peterborough Islanders at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday (5.15pm).

Parrish’s side have now gone 19 games unbeaten and are already assured of a play-off place.

He said: “One of the main goals at the start of the year was to reach the play-offs. It is great to be top of the league as it has been a long time coming and has taken a lot of hard work from the boys."

Elliot Andrews (elbow) is rated as 50/50 for Sunday’s game.

Meanwhile, the ENIHL cup final dates against Sheffield have been confirmed.

The first leg is taking place at Sheffield on March 28, while the second leg is at the Ice Bowl on March 29 with face-off at 5.15pm.
