Joe Martin looks to have played his final game for Gillingham.
The out-of-contract defender tweeted on Monday afternoon wishing the club all the best for the future and saying he was looking to forward to a new challenge.
Martin was a free agent when the Gills signed him in 2010 and he spent four full seasons at Priestfield.
He was part of the title-winning side in 2013 but injuries restricted him to 32 appearances this season.
