Medway Area Sunday League round-up (16/10/22)

The only Premier Division game saw Cuxton 91 collect three points on Sunday.

Goals from Emmanual Usuah (2), Jamie Reeves and an own goal led Cuxton to a 4-3 victory against Darland Spartans.

In Division 1, Clikffe Woods Colts Reserves won 3-0 against Eagles thanks to Ainsley Linton, Eddie Pattenden and Alex Belsey.

Jack Yeowell scored for FC Catalans in a 1-1 draw with Anchorians Athletic.

Caleb Dyce, Iffie Famoriyo and Ericas Ivasauskas were the Ordnance Athletic marksmen in their 3-1 win over Cliffe Woods Rangers, whose reply came from Pete Shiel.

Josh Waters (2) and Jamie Gifford were on target in ASK Medway's 3-0 Division 2 victory over Bredhurst.

Hempstead United and Real 60 finished all square 2-2. Matt Dinsmore and Liam Burton bagged for Hempstead with Daryl Vivash scoring both goals for Real 60.

The Division 3 game between Medway Rovers 20 and Bredhurst Juniors United was abandoned with 20 minutes left due to an injury to a Medway player.

Bailey Hooker and Matt Theobald goals were not enough for Eagles Gold as they lost 8-2 to Swanscombe Tigers.

Rob Phillips, George Croft, Harry Montgomery, Darren Everitt and Owen Heathfield (2) were all on target for New Brompton 1893 in their 6-3 victory over Kent Marina Gunners, whose goals came from Charlie Harrild, Anthony Bridge and Elliot Campbell.

The Stag lost 6-0 to Medway Knights, with goals coming from Jack Trennery (2), Nathan Young, Roman Luchman and Andy Collins.

Medway Sport XI ran out 15-0 winners over Milton & Fulston Zebras in Division 4. There were hat-tricks for Martin Phillips and Alfie Whitnall, Tom Lichfield and Connor Rayfield both scored twice with Jack Hardy, Nathan Toms, Jake Griffiths, Cody Goodman and Ashley Stubbs completing the scoring.

Josh Inkpen (2), Rob Lloyd, George Birch, Nick Cooper and Liam Baker were all on the scoresheet for Rainham Eagles against Bredhurst Juniors.

Dominic Lloyd, Danny Stevens and Ryan Cox saw Tunbury Athletic to a 3-0 win against Kent Marina 19.

Springhead Park came from a goal down at half time to win 2-1 in Division 5 against Minster Village thanks to Ben Cable and Ryan Emblem.

Bells won 4-2 on penalties against Wigmore in the Senior League Cup after a goalless draw.

The tie between High Halstow and Omega 92 was abandoned in the 78th minute due to an injury to a Omega 92 player. Omega led 2-0 at the time, with Luke Whyard scoring twice.

In the Junior League Cup, Cross Park went down 2-0 to Cliffe Woods Colts A, Des McCarty and Kieran Standard doing the damage.

Swallow Rise 93 Reserves defeated Rochester Eagles 3-1 in the Junior League Trophy.

Kristian Nikolov, Reece Bibenden and Jordan Holloway netted for Rise, Josh Baker replied for Eagles.

Sam Knights scored for Your Move Chatham goal in their 5-1 defeat to Medway Soccer Academy, for whom Reece Germano (3) and Oliver Britton (2) netted.

In the Kent Sunday Premier Cup, Sam Stace with both goals in Chatham Town SR's 2-0 victory over Rainham Kenilworth Athletic.

In the Kent Sunday Junior Cup, Jack Thompson and Bradley Killick netted in Pentagon’s 2-1 win over Star Meadow, whose goal came from George Cowdrey.

The Pre-Season Junior Shield final saw Pegasus 81 beat AEI Sports Sundays 3-2.
