There were mixed fortunes for Invicta Dynamos over the weekend.

On Saturday, they lost 6-3 at Wightlink Raiders in South Division 1, making it back-to-back league defeats.

But on Sunday, Mos were 7-2 home winners over Streatham Redskins in the Southern Cup.

Mos were at full strength for their trip to the Isle of Wight.

Twice they fought back from a goal down to lead 3-2 with captain Anthony Leone's double adding to a Callum Fowler strike.

Fowler went on to hit the post as Mos threatened a fourth but Wightlink levelled before the end of the second period and pulled clear in the final session.

Invicta scored three times in the opening 10 minutes of their 7-2 Southern Cup triumph against Streatham, Ryan Giles, Andy Smith and Elliot Knell on target.

Fowler's tap-in made it four at the end of the first period and he struck again after the restart before Streatham pulled a goal back.

Man-of-the-match Smith completed a hat-trick with goals either side of Redskins' second, as Mos claimed a handsome victory.
