Invicta Dynamos could have the ENIHL South 1 title sewn up by March 1.

The Dynamos go into Sunday’s game at Streatham Redskins on the back of an emphatic 16-3 win over Peterborough Islanders.

Despite the scoreline, head coach Kevin Parrish is trying to keep his players focused on the next game.

Parrish said: “It would be nice to know that when we play Milton Keynes Thunder, that we could go there and win the league.

“But the thing we need to do is forget about the last couple of games and start afresh."

Parrish is determined to cocentrate on one game at a time.

He added: “I don’t like ifs and buts because they don’t mean anything.

“Once we’ve got another eight or 10 points, I think we should have done enough.”

Of the trip to Streatham, Parrish said: “They had a bad loss (3-1) against Haringey at the weekend. One of their main players Joe Johnston is injured and I’m not sure if that’s affected them or not.”

Face-off at Streatham Redskins on Sunday is 6.45pm.
