OFFICIALS of the Medway Today Sunday Football League, Division 6, club Princes Park have been ordered to appear before the competition’s management committee tomorrow night following an alleged assault on a referee yesterday.

Their match against Marshalls was abandoned after 20 minutes with Marshalls leading 1-0.

It followed an alleged attack on referee Charlie Falconer after he had ordered a Princes Park penalty to be re-taken. The penalty was subsequently saved.

If the case against Princes Park is proved, the club could forfeit all their points.
