Hadler played three times for the Gills last season, all in the Checkatrade Trophy.

He left the Gills this summer after making a single appearance for the club in the Football League.

In April 2018 he played against Blackpool in League 1, a game the Gills lost 3-0.

Hadler was released along with fellow young keeper Louie Catherall at the end of the season, while first choice stopper Tomas Holy turned down a contract offer and joined Ipswich Town.

The Gills have turned to former Brentford keeper Jack Bonham to take on the no.1 role this coming season and have England youth international Joe Walsh as cover, while manager Steve Evans looks for an additional keeper.
