Southern Counties East League release early-season fixtures

The Southern Counties East League have released their opening three rounds of Premier Division fixtures.

Hollands & Blair – including former Gillingham and Ebbsfleet striker Danny Kedwell – will travel to new boys Balham on Saturday, September 5.

Balham have been moved across from the Combined Counties League after agreeing to groundshare at AFC Croydon.

Sheppey, who revealed the signing of Jack Midson earlier , start with a trip to Erith Town while Chatham – with Andy Pugh and Ryan Hayes in their ranks – visit Erith & Belvedere.

Other opening day fixtures include 2019/20 FA Vase semi-finalists Corinthian travelling to Canterbury, Deal hosting Beckenham and Richard Styles’ Tunbridge Wells visiting his former club, Lordswood. Bearsted host Tower Hamlets, who moved across from the Essex Senior League after agreeing a groundshare with Phoenix Sports.

With FA Cup fixtures on September 12, the league have scheduled two midweek rounds either side.

Among those fixtures, Beckenham host Glebe on Tuesday, September 8 and Sheppey and Chatham are at home to Canterbury and Punjab United respectively.

While on Tuesday, September 15, Deal host Sheppey and Glebe are at home to Corinthian while Chatham visit Bearsted.

The early fixtures in Division 1 are due to be released in the coming days.
