Defenceman Tim Smith leaves Silver Blades after six years with Invicta Dynamos

Long-serving defenceman Tim Smith has quit Invicta Dynamos.

Smith has been with the Mos since joining as an 18-year-old in 2007.

He spent a brief spell back in his hometown Sheffield during the
2011-12 campaign but has been a regular for the Mos over the last six
seasons.

On leaving, he tweeted: "Would like to thank everyone at Invicta
Dynamos for everything over the last six years. A place that I will
always remember!

"Had some great times at the club and although its been a while a lot
of success!"

Smith played 46 games for the Mos last season, scoring six goals and
making 26 assists as he finished with 32 points.
