Gills boss Mark Stimson is playing seven trialists for Gillingham's reserve side against Aldershot

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson will field up to seven trialists in today’s reserve team match against Aldershot at Priestfield.

Stimson will pay particular attention to two non-league strikers as he begins his preparations for next season.

“We’ll have a look at a few fresh faces and see what happens,” he said.

“We can’t have too many first-team players because our squad is not big enough. We’ve got a couple of strikers coming in who have scored a lot of goals in non-league.

“We’ll have a look and if we think they are maybe worth bringing into the club then we might do that.”

Today’s game kicks off at 2pm. Admission for season ticket holders is free, while gate prices are £3 adults and £1 concessions.
