KentOnline's team-of-the-week returns for the 2018-19 season with players from eight clubs in today's line-up.

Our top boss is Steve Lovell after the Welshman masterminded Gillingham's 2-0 win at Accrington Stanley on the opening day.

Have a look at our XI and let us know your thoughts by using the comments section at the bottom of the page or by tweeting @kentonlinesport.

Maidstone keeper Lee Worgan gets the nod in goal after a couple of important first-half saves in their 1-1 National League draw with Hartlepool.

Dover were edged 1-0 by Wrexham but Josh Passley contributed to a solid defensive display and also looked good going forward down the right.

Tom Bonner marked his first game as captain by leading Dartford to a 2-1 success at Bath City in National League South.

Alongside him in central defence is Liam Quinn, who scored in Canterbury's 5-2 Southern Counties East win over Rusthall.

At left-back, Jason Fregene scored the winner and helped Hollands & Blair to a clean sheet in a 1-0 against Fisher in the SCEFL.

Our midfield three includes two Gills players.

Regan Charles-Cook, playing at the tip of a diamond, frightened Accrington with his pace in his first-ever league game.

He took to it like a duck to water, also setting up Brandon Hanlan's opener.

Team-mate Billy Bingham, making his first start since breaking ankle last October, was also involved in Hanlan's goal and had an excellent game.

Our third midfielder is Lee Noble, who excelled as Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan started their Dartford reign with a come-from-behind victory.

Up front, Dan Bradshaw scored a hat-trick as Sheppey started their Southern Counties East campaign with a 5-0 win over Crowborough.

Myles Weston looked dangerous down the left for Ebbsfleet, although Daryl McMahon's men started with a 1-0 home defeat by National League big guns Chesterfield.

On the right, it's Maidstone winger Blair Turgott. He opened the scoring from the penalty spot and looked a big threat running at the Pools defence.
