Bradley Dack is playing some of the best football he ever has for the club.

I was pleased to see him get nominated for the Football League player-of-the-month.

He certainly deserves it and he is peaking just at the right time.

He is creating goals, like he did for me on Tuesday night at Swindon, and he is also scoring.

It’s easy to see why he has been nominated for February’s award.

He has helped us win a lot of points recently.

It was good to get a goal at Swindon in the week and that was my first of the season.

Scoring with my head is not something I normally do but hopefully it’s the first of many!

I did fancy my chances on Tuesday and had a bit of banter with Josh Pritchard about it. He bet me a fiver I wouldn’t score so I’m going to make sure I get that off him next time I see him.

At half-time, the coaching staff were telling me to get in the box a bit more. I did that at the start of the game, in the first 10 minutes but they sat off a bit.

When I saw the play building up down the left I thought why not? I ran in and luckily for me, got a flick and it went in.

If I’m playing on the right of that diamond in midfield, it does allow me the chance to go forward, with Pritch sitting in there. It gives me licence to go box-to-box.

That put us 2-0 up, after Cody had scored the opener with a half volley off the back of his heel! It didn’t surprise me that he could pull it off but it did surprise me that he tried it.
