MK Dons are a decent team but they won’t want to be facing us right now.

We know what they are about from playing them in our first game of the season but we are a different Gillingham to the one they faced back then.

We got a couple of injuries in that game, eventually losing 4-2 but time has flown by.

The new manager came in last weekend and that has given us an extra lift and there is so much confidence around at the moment.

I feel I am in good form and although I would love to start games, it’s working for me and the team to be coming off the bench and I’m being called the supersub.

On Tuesday night, I was involved in the winning goal and at the weekend, against Sheffield United, I scored one and made one.

I am happy and enjoying it. I am an important part of the team and making headlines, so I have to be happy.

I’m looking forward to coming up against MK Dons’ left-back Dean Lewington on Saturday.

He’s been around for a while and I am sure he won’t be happy to see me coming off the bench, if that’s the way the gaffer does it.

Quite often teams have been doubling up on me, with a player dropping from midfield.

A few say to me ‘Glash, take it easy today’ but I just keep quiet and do my stuff.

I’ve scored a few recently and the stats are looking good.
