Ben White has confirmed his departure from Gillingham's coaching staff.

White was put in charge of the Gills youth team last January but won't be involved at Priestfield this season.

He made the announcement via Twitter on Tuesday.

Ben White has left Gillingham

White said: "After a productive and enjoyable two seasons I have decided step away from my role at Gillingham.

"I would like to thank the club for the opportunity and I look forward to seeing some of the talented and hard-working young players within the ranks earning a chance in the first team."
