Air Ambulance called out to medical incident in Lydd

The air ambulance was called out last night to assist with a medical incident.

Residents in Lydd saw the helicopter landing in the Tourney Road area at around 8.50pm last night.

The crews were attending an incident at a private address in the area.

Police and ground teams also attended the scene.

The exact nature of the incident is not known, but it is understood that at least one person was airlifted to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
