A259 St Mary's Bay crash: Man cut free from car after crash on Dymchurch Road

A man had to be cut free from his car after a crash on the busy A259 this afternoon.

Firefighters helped rescue the man who was trapped in the car following a smash with another vehicle on Dymchurch Road in St Mary's Bay.

Crews were called to the crash just after 1pm.

Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to remove the roof of the vehicle he was in.

He was then taken into the care of paramedics.

The two fire engines which attended left the scene at 2.30pm.
