Age Concern Sandwich in Market Street is offering buy one get one free every Thursday in May

Two Age Concern shops in Sandwich and one in Aylesham are running a buy one get one free offer every Thursday in May.

This is to thank customers old and new by running the promotion on all clothing at the shops in Market Street and Cattle Market.

This comes after one of the shops moved from Delf Street to Market Street last November.

Tracey Allen, retail manager at Age Concern, said: “The local traders and shopkeepers in Market Street have made those setting up the new shop feel very welcome and Age Concern in Sandwich is grateful for their support.

“It relies on its volunteers who come from all walks of life to help in different areas; some are retired, some work part time and some are students.

“We particularly want volunteers in our shops and will provide new volunteers with opportunities for training, in a friendly environment.

“If you think you have what it takes to sell, we would love to hear from you.”

The charity in Sandwich will now be offering an information and advice service every Wednesday from 9am-3pm.

This is a three-month pilot project and is being run with the support of Age Concern Deal.
