A256 blocked at Sandwich and man injured following crash between motorbike and car

A car and a motorcycle collided on a busy road in Sandwich.
The A256 was blocked in both directions following the accident between roundabouts at the A258 Deal Road and the A257 to Ash.
A police spokesman said officers were called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles at around 8.20am on Thursday 6 May 2021 on the A256 near Eastry.
A man had been injured and was treated by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist was assessed and treated before being taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries including a leg injury."
