Police in Sandwich are investigating the theft of beer line cleaner and are warning it could damage your health if you drink it.

Two 2.5 litre barrels were stolen during a break in at a storage area at Sandwich Bowling and Social Club in Millwall Place.

Police spokesman Jon Green said: “The cleaner is highly corrosive and would be harmful if swallowed.”

It was taken between 3am and 5am on Wednesday, October 22.
