The Open Championship: Andrew 'Beef' Johnston to compete in final qualifying at Prince's Golf Club

Sandwich's Prince's Golf Club is set to welcome European tour professional Andrew 'Beef' Johnston to final qualifying for The Open on Tuesday.
The Englishman will be among a field of 72 at the Kent course, which is serving as one of four host venues ahead of the championship at Royal Portrush later this month.
Johnston enters on the back of failing to qualify for the 2019 US Open at the beginning of June.
The 30-year-old's sole win on the European tour to date was in 2016 when he emerged victorious at the Spanish Open.
He has also featured at The Open Championship on three occasions, missing the halfway cut in 2011 before finishing eighth in 2016 and tied for 27th in 2017.
Denmark's Thomas Bjorn will also be competing for one of the three qualifying spots available at Prince's.
The 48-year-old has been at The Open 18 times in the past, finishing joint-second in 2000 and 2003 and fourth in 2011.
A number of Kent-based golfers will be involved at Prince's as well, including the club's very own Francis McGuirk after he came through qualifying at West Lancashire.
