Blackheath opened up a four-point lead at the top of the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Premier Division after an eight-run win at Sandwich on Saturday.

Dipayan Paul top-scored with 60 as Blackheath posted 198-9. Matthew van Poppel took 4-46.
Ryan Davies (59) led the Sandwich reply before Jahid Ahmed (5-39) bowled the visitors to their narrow victory.

Hartley opener Dan Stickels hit 102 as his side crushed visitors Folkestone by 257 runs.

Stickels, James Thompson (67) and Charlie Hemphrey (53) saw Hartley reach 312-7 with Sam Ireland (3-57) the pick of the bowlers.

Folkestone could only manage 55 in reply as Dan Redwood took 5-34 and Jake Benfield 3-11.

Defending champions Sevenoaks Vine suffered a two-wicket loss at home against second-placed Bexley.

Opener John Bowden scored 50 while Oliver Durrell made 34 as Vine were bowled out for 164 with Jasdev Bassan (4-19) and Adam Riley (3-39) doing the damage.

Bexley were in trouble at 98-6 in reply before Min Patel’s 56 steered his side home. Nicholas Sale finished with 3-39.

Bromley won by 39 runs at Lordswood after Imran Qayyum took 6-28 for the visitors.

Scott Barlow (51) and Charlie Hartley (46) made the major contributions as Bromley were all-out for 172. Ranjit Singh (4-38) was the pick of the Lordswood bowling attack.

Lordswood were dismissed for 133 in reply as Qayyum starred with the ball.

Oliver Howick scored 101 for Beckenham in the 142-run win at Tunbridge Wells after his side made 254-9. David Smith took 3-71 while Alexander Williams finished with 3-38.

The home side replied with 112 all-out as William MacVicar took 6-53 off 15 overs.
